Available with the Typhoon or 100” wide Cyclone cab, lengths of 58” and 67.5” are offered for models with a pump and tank, while 74” and 80” cabs are available for models without. Optional features include a split raised roof and exterior cab compartments. Built on an integral torque box chassis, the wheelbase ranges from 250” to 260”. Powered by a Cummins engine offering up to 605 HP, it includes a 24,000 lb. taper leaf front suspension (IFS optional) and a 54,000 lb. rear axle with disc brakes, with a 62,000 lb. rear axle option for added capacity. Standard safety features include a roll-cage-style cab, CrewGuard®, and ABS brakes, with airbags available as an option. Clean cab options include Active Air Purification, HEPA filtration, easy-clean seating, and alternative SCBA storage.
The 100’ welded extruded aluminum aerial features a 2.5 to 1 structural safety factor. The platform is rated for 1,305 lbs dry (1,000 lbs for firefighters and 305 lbs for equipment) and 805 lbs wet (500 lbs for firefighters and 305 lbs for equipment). It offers a crisscross underslung jack spread of just 15’6”, with an optional short jacking feature. The platform has angled corners with a perimeter step, and a standard overall height of 11’10”, with a 2” lower height option available via a notched aerial cab. The Advanced Aerial Control System (AACS) includes body protection and variable speed control. Additional options include single or dual monitors, 2.5” valves, hose boxes, breathing air, a parapet ladder, tie-off package, stokes receiver, LED scene, and climbing lights.
Featuring an extruded aluminum body, the SideStacker hosebed design allows hose deployment and reloading without raising the aerial. The “Truck Company” style body, without a tank or pump, includes a large transverse compartment. A rear side staircase provides easy access to the turntable, and the body can be equipped with hinged and/or roll-up doors. For models with a tank and pump, up to 182’ of ground ladder storage is available, meeting ISO requirements.
Available with Hale®, Waterous®, or Darley pumps up to 2,000 GPM, these models feature 300 to 500-gallon poly tanks with optional foam cells. The optional eMAX design offers low pre-connected handlines, an enclosed pump operator’s panel, and additional enclosed storage. Foam system options include direct injection, CAFS, and around-the-pump (ATP) systems. Discharges and pre-connects can be customized to meet specific department needs, and the unit comes with a stainless steel discharge manifold.
The multiplex electrical system with a color display enhances functionality and diagnostics. Customizable LED warning light packages are available, along with optional high-power LED scene lighting. Generators range from 6 to 15 kW. Additional options include LED ladder-climbing lights in various colors, LED tip-mounted scene lights, and camera systems such as back-up, driver or officer side, 360-degree views, and platform-mounted cameras, with images displayed on the AACS screen.
