An Akron 2.5″ Mounting Plate is a chrome-plated metal plate that is used to mount firefighting equipment with female threads. It is available in sizes from 1.5″ to 6″ (NH only). The mounting plate has screw-type mounts with bolt holes in the center for a neat appearance. It is typically used to mount equipment on fire trucks, but it can also be used on other structures, such as buildings and bridges.
